Marshall’s Lara Check Earns Sun Belt Field Athlete of the Week Honors

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – Marshall University junior Lara Check was named the Sun Belt Conference Women’s Field Athlete of the Week after a standout performance at the Hurricane Invitational in Miami, Florida, where she delivered a career-best long jump of 6.24 meters (20 feet, 5.75 inches).
